There are about 2 paradigms for feedback relevant here: failure-only feedback and success+failure feedback.


Pros of failure-only feedback (no success feedback): - the user is not be nerved by success feedback where the success is obvious - the user can assume that as long as no feedback comes, everything is alright (corresponding to the radical constructivism model: only failure shows reality).

Pros of failure/success feedback: - user can assume that something went wrong if there is no feedback - the user can easiere learn the effects of his or her actions - the user can easier explore things
