Mouse:Clicking And Selecting

From KDE-HIG_Wiki

In this section, the standard behavior when clicking objects, links and buttons with the left or right mouse button are described.

The denotations left mouse button and right mouse button are based on a mouse for a right-handed person. A left-handed person can configure the mouse to have the right and left buttons reversed.

Clicking on Objects

In the following, the standard behaviour when clicking on an object in the content area is described.

The default behavior in KDE is to activate and select objects with a single click of the left button of the pointing device. To accommodate users who prefer to activate objects with a double click, KDE allows the user to switch from single-click to double-click mode on a system-wide basis. In single-click mode, a double click is treated as a single click.
